Since 2004, Ray Bartlett has been writing for top industry publishers such as Lonely Planet, Insight Guide, Moon Handbooks, and more. Ray is often on the road in Japan, Korea, or Mexico. He has numerous magazine, newspaper, radio, and webcast credits. When not elsewhere, he does tourism consulting, leads guided tours, and makes custom travel itineraries for clients all over the world, including towns, boards of tourism, and individuals. He also owns and operates one of the world's finest English-language onsen websites, www.OnsenJapan.net.
His debut novel, Sunsets of Tulum, came out in October, 2015, from Barrel Fire Press.
